Got charged immediately after changing credit card number online

I made 2 reservations through using my travelling credit card and payment was due a few days before the check-in dates (3 months after reservations).
In the meantime, I had a fraudulent transaction on my credit card and the bank cancelled my credit card and issued a new one with a different number.
I went on my reservations and there is a button "Update Credit Card" which I clicked. After updating the credit card information and hitting Ok, I was immediately charged for the full amount of the reservation.
The website does not mention anything about being charged immediately.
Upon calling customer service, I'm told "well, normally customer call us to make the change and we make sure it is not charged, it is automatic with the website"...
Now the only option is to cancel the reservations and redo the bookings, hoping for the same rate and that the rooms are still available...

This is the only way agoda will "investigate why a popup did not appear stating that the amount would be charged immediately"... Not acceptable!
I then stated I wanted to make a formal complaint. I was instructed to send it to agoda's email. I asked to get the agoda email and was told to "go on the website to find it",
I would not be given the email...

Looking at the website, the email is not clearly listed.

Only option is to chat with a bot which only allows phone calls, no email...
I found the email on the internet through a google search, hoping it is the correct one (biz@***.com).
Very poor customer service from agoda. Will think twice about doing business with them in the future!

I was told the hotel had an early check in available. I used pissed customer to contact Agoda. The call wasn’t even connected

I could not get a customer service rep to message me at all or answer a call. I could not get a refund after falsely giving me the information. I had to sit on my luggage for 3 hours.

Name change for booking

I booked a room for my sister and her family as a surprise for her birthday but used my name on the booking I immediately saw the mistake and then contacted the customer service where a lady help me and said she will help me change it it will take up to 48 hours this was Saturday, today I checked in and it said on the customer service I can not change the name or get a refund, this is crazy there is still a week left before check in and now I am not getting any reply on customer service, which is just poor service I will defnitly not recommend Agoda to anyone and I will also post on social media because I feel this is just ridiculous!!!

They are absolutely awful!! Didn't specify that there was going to b an extra charge of $50 in cash when u went to check in so I couldn't stay and nthey wouldn't give me a refund. Pathetic business!!!!!
