I booked hotel from agoda via credit card , for the which agoda informed there will be a cashback and can be claimed after 60 or 90 days post stay. Stay has been confirmed and only for cashback for no reason agoda says the stay has not been confirmed and the cashback cannot be processed as there is a pending confirmation from hotel. When contacting agoda customer support they say there is a technical issue and its been 4 months now and this is just getting dragged When asked for bill or receipt the hotel mentions that bill cant be sent as it was booked via agoda and when checked in agoda app it informs me to contact hotel I am sure this is scam and also the hotel are also a part of this. Both parties( hotels and agoda) play a vital role is scamming customers.

Good day! This is Ceceile Nessia, one of your customers who booked from your website last July 9, 2023, 9PM of Sunday, for one night in OYO Dormitel here in Bacolod City. I requested a refund from that night we booked due to circumstance that we weren't able to check in, we are unaware that the Dormitel we booked are closing at 9PM, right when we were booking a room from your website. I tried to reach out to the management of OYO Dormitel because for months until now we haven't yet received the refund money, amounting P978.66. And they said that they cannot approve the refund since it was booked from this website and not on their main/official website. I hope that through this email you will be informed and gain awareness of this unfinished transaction under refund of payment. It has taken 7 weeks and I still don't have the refund that has been authorized by the hotel manager. Agoda continues to stonewall and come up with excuses. The customer service staff is under trained. there NEVER seems to be a manager available. I would never use them again. I will be processing a fraud case with my credit card company

AGODA PARIS - COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE Apartment not cleaned before entry. Cooker not working, only one ring. Rotting food in fridge Broken glasses in cupboard. No wine glasses. Bottom sheet "stained" so could not use. No help from local system. No reimboursement for lack of cleaning though it was itemised on the bill. Departed after 10 day stay ... nobody showed up to help. The hotel I stayed at never recieved my reservation through agoda. Had to pay full price at the front desk. Agoda will not refund my money. They called the hotel to get a cancellation fee and that was denied. This was after I explained that I did not cancel my reservation. I did in fact stay at the hotel. Customer service is horrible.

Hi, my name is Dana Asum. My husband, my daughter and I booked a vacation through you at the Swiss Inn Dahab Hotel between the dates 1/10-6/10/23. Recently we heard that there were a number of brutal shark attacks in Dahab and Laguna in particular. We come almost every year to Dahab in order to dive and do water sports. We are very afraid to come and do not want to be disappointed that our annual vacation will be ruined. Although we booked a hotel without cancellation, we ask you to lower the price of the room or at least upgrade the stay to all-inclusive without extra charge? I would like to point out that we usually do not ask for such requests for free discounts or upgrades, but with the whole story of the sharks in Dahab and so that we can be more satisfied with a vacation without diving or water sport. Asking for a discount or upgrade to all inclusive. The price dropped because of the sharks. It is not possible for us to pay more than what you are now advertising

They secretly store your payment details and process transactions without your permission. Complete theft and fraudulent. Delete their app and do not go onto their site. When I asked for refund, this is like the 4th 48 hours they have asked. And the biz@***.com email is complete lies. Do not use their services or use the app. Save yourself from stress and stay away from Agoda completely. The property will have no problems with cancellation fees but Agoda will keep saying they cannot contact the property. Bunch of ***

I booked the hotel from Agoda for Vellore, its shows be your booking has confirmed but later on when in have visited the hotel for check in from morning they said your booking has cancelled, and from the website is already showing, and even hotel manager has confirmed from hotel customer service and later on after 2 - 3 hours an email has come to me from your side that we apologize for inconvenient, and from email they asked me what you want I choose the option that I want amount to be refund and emailed you also but do not receive any response till today.
